Alberta Express Entry Draws from January 2023 to April 2024

AAIP announced another Express Entry draw on April 3, 2024. The draw parameter is "Dedicated Healthcare Pathway with Alberta job offer, CRS score 300 and above". What has been the overall trend of the AAIP Express Entry draws? The following charts illustrate the Alberta Express Entry Draws from January 2023 to April 2024.

It can be observed that in the past 15 months from January 2023 to April 2024,

• There have been approximately four draws for the Express Entry pool each month.
• There have been no draws based on Family Connection and Occupation in Demand in the last six months.
• There appears to be an increased emphasis on draws for the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway recently: the draws have predominantly focused on this pathway, and candidates only need to meet the minimum CRS requirement of 300 points. The number of candidates drawn through this pathway is lower compared to other streams, possibly due to fewer candidates in this category.
• Overall, the CRS score requirement for the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway and construction (one of the Sector Priorities) is low, with a minimum CRS requirement of 300 points to qualify for the Alberta Express Entry stream.
